"I just finished reading "The Promise Doctrine" by Jason Womack and Craig Womack. NOW, the real work begins. You see, "The Promise Doctrine" is much more than a book. It is a habit-changing, interactive exercise on making and keeping promises. It actually takes less than an hour to read. But, just reading the book would not do justice to the power of the exercises found within its pages.

I love everything about "The Promise Doctrine." First of all, it contains very precise and simple concepts to grasp. Not a lot of fluff or technical jargon in this one. The authors focus on a few key concepts that will help readers become better at keeping their promises.

Next, I love format. When I received my copy I opened the package and was quite frankly surprised. It was not at all what I expected. It is unlike any book I've had before. There are pull out pages with exercises, many simple, yet effective interactive charts, and some very cool graphics. THIS is how I wish my school text books would have looked!

Finally, while the book contains simple concepts, I am interested to see how I do with the assignments. As with any life-changing exercises, the proof is in the execution. The book quite frankly seems to be very challenging. The challenge will be to keep my first promise to myself and finish all of the exercises. If I do so, the reward will be a much greater sense of awareness when it comes to taking the opportunity to make and keep promises to my family, friends, teammates, and clients.

There is no doubt about it. If you take Jason and Craig's advice and really work on implementing the concepts in the book, you will form new habits and strengthen your good habits you already have. Then you will most certainly have an improved quality of life and make a huge difference on the lives of those around you.

Please get this book! When you're done, buy copies for your closest friends and colleagues.

I ordered this book on Tuesday and received it, as "Promised," the very next day. I read it cover to cover over dinner last night and just could not put it down.

I'm pretty good about keeping my word to others but not so good about keeping my word to myself. The Promise Doctrine helped me understand why I fail short and, more importantly, gave me very specific tools on how to correct this shortcoming. My desk was a cluttered mess this morning . . . so I promised myself I'd spent just 20 minutes cleaning it up. I wound up spending 3 hours but it's now 100% clean. I now must "Promise" myself to keep it clean.

After reading The Promise Doctrine, I now have the correct tools to do it, I just need implement my action plan over and over until it's second nature.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who knows they can do a better job keeping their word. Come on over and see for yourself how clean my desk is now ! Thanks Craig and Jason.

The beginning of the new year was a great time to read The Promise Doctrine. Jason and Craig Womack have done an excellent job creating a framework to help one keep their promises. It is a straight forward book using an novel approach to allow one to map out their goals and manage them to completion. Write on the pages and fold out templates as you go. Use it to create the plan, work through any hurdles and keep your promises. One can easily get started in short order. The book is as inspiring as Jason's live seminars. And the online video on YouTube is a good reinforcement of the principles of The Promise Doctrine.

I used to think promises could be made but also broken because something more important came up. Jason and Craig explain the importance of keeping promises to yourself and others, and show you how to keep promises.

The Promise Doctrine is a combination of an interactive journal, accountability partner and cheerleader. We all need to celebrate what we already do and take steps to recognize the already expended effort. Then we can move forward setting goals and making promises to ourselves and others at work, home and in the community.

I had the privilege of meeting Jason Womack while dining with friends in New York City. I was unfamiliar with his work and his book, but everyone in our group immediately noticed and commented on the intense energy and LIFE emanating from this man. He is the sort of person who makes you stop and think, "Wow...I want some of that..." (even though it is hard to define precisely what "that" is.) When his group was seated at the table next to ours, we struck up conversation and he mentioned The Promise Doctrine and briefly explained the ideas behind it. As someone running a demanding business, I was instantly taken with the stark simplicity of the solutions to everyday challenges that he posited and I started to consider how small changes in my business might positively impact my personal life as well. I bought the book the next day, but I wondered if the ideas in print could possibly live up to the engaging man who had initially laid them out for me. In short, they did. In Spades. I read the book cover to cover in one day and have found myself quoting from it and implementing the system in every aspect of my life. The changes that I am seeing and freedom that I am feeling are truly remarkable. I recommend this book wholeheartedly. Read it. Then live it. You'll see.
