About the author

Jim Doramus is an artist and writer who lives in Nashville, Tennessee and Governors Harbour, on Eleuthera in the Bahamas. The twists, turns and plots of his stories often draw on his experiences as an attorney and a health care executive. He has defended and prosecuted criminal and civil cases in courts at all levels, from the lowest magistrate to the Supreme Court of the United States. His stories often include locations in the Bahamas, which provide a rich history of intrigue.
Jim is a life long fan of mysteries, thrillers and contemporary fiction. For the first time in a long time he does not have a dog, and is looking for a puppy. It will be named Dashiell.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 14, 2015Cache Cay is a great read and hard to put down from the beginning. I typically try to figure out the ultimate twists of a plot before it is revealed to the reader. I couldn't do it with Cache Cay. I got tied up in what to me was a foreign environment and sunk into the pleasure of the read. I recommend for those who particularly like a fresh face on the fiction scene.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 29, 2012I met this writer on a plane from New Orleans to Nashville and we started comparing the books we had read on our Kindles. The man said I needed to read Cache Cay because he had written it. I immediately downloaded it when I got home and couldn't put it down until I got to the end. My kind of book!!

- Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2014Good book. I was expecting it to be more of a hardy boys-esq treasure hunting type story but overall I enjoyed the read.
