Purchase options and add-ons
Bridgeport Butcher on the loose! Born-again cannibals. Cultists. Sex monsters. Crazed preachers and beer-guzzling crocodiles. Welcome to Aztec, New Mexico, the hottest, bloodiest hellhole north of the border. Just ask Fred Flies By The Crow. Men claim to carry the seed of alien civilizations in their bellies. Young boys wander the streets with grown women's scalps.
When end-of-times street preacher, Eli Goams, and born-again cannibal, Varnell Legree, show up in town--one looking for gas money and a flock to take with him to Kingdom Come, and the other for fresh human steaks--no one bats an eye. As the bodies pile up, dirty county sheriff Carl Leadback is just trying to keep a lid on it all--at least another two weeks until he gets re-elected and can go back to his murderous, whoring ways.
"A blistering ride through the absurdities of existence." - Cody Sexton, editor and publisher at Anxiety Press
"God's Speedboat is a swampy, sweaty, mutant southern gothic tale with a close kinship to Harry Crows and Don Winslow." - Manny Torres, author of Cabrones Perros and Perras Malas

- Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2024Format: PaperbackThey don’t write them like this anymore. The book gives you all your dark and gritty crime needs. It’s upsetting that more eyes aren’t on it because it is so much better than any supposed “dark” noir fiction out there. This book is miles above all of that. This ain’t your mom’s crime fiction. It has an ensemble cast of some of the scariest, most violent lowlifes you’ll ever read about. It pushes the envelope of good taste a few times yet it doesn’t lie to you or come off plastic and phoned in. For fans of Harry Crews, and even Cormac McCarthy, with its grim portrayal of violence and depravity. You’ll meet corrupt, perverted sheriffs, cannibals, cult members and even an Italian gangster. Wait until you meet Shu Shu.
