What to do? Click on the links for your (child’s) designated Grade level to view suggested book lists.

Where do I find these books? Almost all books are available in print and online via Bergen County Cooperative Library System using your Hackensack (Johnson) Public Library card or Rochelle Park Public LIbrary card. Follow the Hackensack Library homepage or Rochelle Park Library homepage for updates about print book pickup timelines.

Are there digital copies? Yes! You can access ebooks through the school district’s Sora Reading App and through your school library with your school email - Hackensack Middle School Library ebooks OR Hackensack High School Library eBooks

If you prefer to borrow a digital copy, the Middle School and High School lists have designated icons with availability (via Hoopla and/or Libby apps). You can access these titles using your Johnson Public Library card number if you are a Hackensack Resident.

Need to make a new public library card? Please visit your local library. You will get instructions on how to register for a card and receive a physical card. That card has a number that you can use to access digital books and of course, physical copies. How to get a library card - Rochelle Park Library OR How to get a library card - Hackensack Library
