Greenwich Maths Time 2019

The IMA Festival of Mathematics and its Applications

The University of Greenwich Maths Centre is delighted to be hosting Greenwich Maths Time, the 2019 IMA Festival of Mathematics and its Applications. We will be presenting two days of exciting mathematical talks, workshops and hands-on activities. Use the menu to explore! The Festival and all its events are free. Anyone is welcome to attend, but advance registration is required.

Come and join Takita Bartlett, Rob Eastaway, Ioanna Georgiou, James Grime, Jonathan Histed, Aoife Hunt, Bobby Seagull, Ben Sparks, Katie Steckles, Colin Wright and many others to explore unusual and surprising maths.

Did you know that it is possible to walk on custard? Come and try for yourself at Greenwich Maths Time!

There will be events and activities suitable for school students at all levels. Booking for school parties is now open - please use the link "Schools Booking" in the sidebar menu.

The Festival is supported by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, The OR Society, the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme, FDM and the University of Greenwich.

Greenwich also hosted the 2017 Festival.
