Singers and players, we suggest a minimum $5 tip per tune.

This jazz jam session is open to all singers and instrumentalists!  There is generally a 2 song cap on sitting in.  Please tell your friends.

Choose & list 2-3 jazz standard songs with your KEY, in order of preference in case the band doesn't know one of your selections. 

The band knows most jazz standards.  Check iReal - most standards are there.  (You might also consult the Jazz Fake book). 

If you have a non standard song, you can request it - IF the band accepts it or can find a chart

Chart must be no more than 2 pages, lead sheet format in THE KEY that you perform it. Bring 4 copies.
  NO long form sheet music -1-2 pages only. 
 
I understand that there may not be time for everyone to sing or play, that there is generally a 2 song maximum for sitting-in unless special arrangement made,  and that this is offered as a community benefit. *
