What is Temple Isaiah's MAZON Dinner? Temple Isaiah’s MAZON Dinner is an annual benefit dinner catered and coordinated by Temple Isaiah’s High School Youth Group, LEFTY. The theme of this year’s dinner is MAZON in Israel: Take a Trip with LEFTY. To make this event as environmentally-friendly as possible, sign-ups will be electronic this year. Please RSVP by January 15, 2018.
Organized and executed by Temple teens, the dinner is an exceptional community-wide event that highlights the very essence of the Isaiah community – Tzedakah (justice), Tikkun Olam (repairing the world) and Hachnasat Orchim (generosity & hospitality). All proceeds from this event go directly to MAZON. MAZON: A Jewish Response to Hunger is a national, non-profit agency that allocates donations from the Jewish community to prevent and alleviate hunger among people of all faiths and backgrounds. For more information, go to www.mazon.org.
Whether this is your 33rd or your first MAZON Dinner, please join us for an evening of gourmet food, prepared by congregant volunteers and their crew of LEFTYites. This is an opportunity to make some new friends and dance the night away to the music of The Titanics.
