Every year, the Encinal, Laurel, Oak Knoll, and Hillview PTOs and the Menlo Park-Atherton Education Foundation (MPAEF) honor individuals (parents, teachers, staff members, community volunteers) who have contributed in an extraordinary way to our schools.

School Service Award (SSA)
These awards are focused on volunteers at a particular school. Awards are given to individuals who have run major events for the school and/or who have contributed above and beyond for several years to the day-to-day education of our children.

Honorary Service Award (HSA)
These awards give special recognition to individuals (parents, teachers, staff, or community volunteers) who have given outstanding service to Menlo Park students and our schools.

Golden Oak Award
These awards are given to individuals (parents, teachers, staff, or community volunteers) who are leaving our district and have given outstanding service to Menlo Park students and our schools for many years.
