If you've been in close contact with a person who has COVID-19, you must self-isolate for ten days, even if your test result is negative.
If you are fully vaccinated or previously positive and do not have symptoms, you do not need to self-isolate unless otherwise directed by Pubic Health.
You should wear a mask and maintain physical distancing.
You should self monitor for symptoms for ten days after your last exposure to the person with COVID-19.
You should avoid visiting places where there are vulnerable people or a large number of unvaccinated persons, such as long term care homes, schools or child care. You can visit these places for essential reasons only, such as for work or if you are attending school or child care.
You should tell your employer that you were in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
You must self-isolate and get tested as soon as possible if you develop symptoms of COVID-19.
