How to use
1. Download PhoneLeash from the Play Store
2. Accept all the permissions requests -- they're are all required for PhoneLeash to work
3. Enter the email address you want to forward incoming texts to. PhoneLeash works really well with Gmail.
4. Select your usage type, Personal or Commercial.
5. For the first install, leave everything at defaults. You can come back later to turn on other options.
6. When testing, don't text yourself, use another phone. You should see the text forwarded to your email or 2nd phone within a few seconds.

I have looked high and far for a good app that would forward my sms from my personal phone to my work phone and finally I have found it. Now let me clear some things up for you re re's out there. You can download a 30 day free trial then if it has worked just the way you expected to then you may pay for the app 6 months at a time. The price per month is very reasonable very. Email technical support for setting help...ur good 2 go!! This app exceeded my expectations. Kudos 2 the developer!!!!

This is a completely honest review. The application worked perfectly. The telephone from which I forwarded text messages was in Milwaukee, WI. I was in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. I did not lose a single word from any of the nearly 150 texts sent to me. I was very satisfied the previous time I used the subscription service and it was perfect this time. I paid a one month subscription and had no issue canceling when I no longer needed the service. Easy and convenient to use.

So this basically does exactly what I want it to and I'll totally pay for it when my trial is up. The one thing I wish is that the texts being forwarded to the other phone number would appear in the same conversation as the other phone's conversation with that person. Instead, it's just a single stream w/ all the texts from everyone in it, which could make finding a particular text on your other phone harder. Assume there's a limitation to prevent this. Too bad. Would be perfect otherwise.

Thank you! When forwarding to another phone, there are a couple of limitations, what you mention is one of them. Replies are another - you must to remember to prefix 'tls'. Forwarding to an email, will give you that single thread you are looking for, but in your email inbox. And replies are like replying to any email!
