Do you care about privacy? Is your driver’s license enrolled in the FBI’s face recognition network? Interested in what data brokers know about you? What do NSA surveillance, FBI tracking, and Big Data mining techniques mean for the vulnerable and disadvantaged? The Center on Privacy & Technology will be exploring these and many related questions.

The Center studies the impact of government surveillance and commercial data practices on vulnerable communities; provides intellectual and legal foundations for reforms to our nation’s consumer privacy laws; and offers technology-intensive courses that prepare our students to be leaders in privacy practice, policymaking and advocacy.
