Menus

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal nutrition requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines.

All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Households are encouraged to complete and submit an application for free and reduced price meals to the district for processing. 

Free and reduced data is used to:

  • Help maintain meal count system requirements
  • Report to the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education for funding formulas
  • Establish other benefits, particularly Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) and Emergency Broadband Benefit
  • And determine district benefits such as, potential reduced or waived fees, including:
    • BOOST School-Aged Childcare Program
    • Shull Early Learning Pre-school and Childcare tuition
    • School building fees (i.e., student agenda, PE uniform, class dues, etc.)
    • Athletic/Activity fees
    • ACT/SAT/AP/IB Testing fees

Nutrition Information

We know it's important for you to understand the nutrition provided in your student's school meals.  See the below links for a listing of the 8 Major Allergens (milk, egg, peanut, tree nut, shellfish, fish, soy & wheat) in our menu items, Carbohydrate Information and a listing of those items containing Pork or Red Dye.  Additionally, our menus are interactive - if you hover over a menu item, the Ingredient Facts Label will appear.  If you require further product information, please call Child Nutrition at 816-892-1370.

All Raymore-Peculiar schools serve a variety of Smart Snacks and Beverages available for students to purchase.  Menu options are listed below.  It is important to discuss with your student their purchasing expectations in order to meet their nutritional needs and the family's financial goals.  If necessary, account blocks can be placed on your student's account.  Please call your cafeteria manager to discuss your options.
