SPMPLPL 2022-23

The 2022-23 "LEGACY EDITION" Contest is now LIVE!

We may have said our sad goodbyes (for now) to the weekly staple that is Set Piece Menu, but the football prediction gaming behemoth that is SPMPLPL lives on! Even if starting slightly later than intended (car breakdowns / work / travel ... apologies!).

Instructions

1 - Enter your name, team name and email below;

2 - Add a code/word to the "League Groups" field below (or multiple codes for different groups) and share this with whoever is joining you - search for this in league standings to filter your group;

3 - Drag the teams below into the order in which you think they will finish at the end of the 22-23 Premier League Season;

4 - You may re-visit and edit your predictions (using link provided by email when you register) up until 8pm on 16th September 2022.

Rules

Scoring is based on the accuracy of your prediction for each team: 20 points for "bang-on", 19 for one away and so on;

The differences between your predicted placing and actual placing (positive or negative) are combined for a "total" score;

Highest score at the end of the season wins;

Tied teams are separated by prediction accuracy - i.e. firstly by how many "bang-on" predictions they have made, followed by "one away", etc etc.

Bonus Points

Bonus points are awarded for correctly predicting the top 4 and/or bottom 3 in the correct order (5 points each).
