Sit & Enjoy

_______

No cause is needed for meditation.

However, there is a consequence, a fruit.

And from that fruit, Sukha Vinaya starts. Not as such that we know what that fruit is or can be, but rather in the sense of a way in which each of us can discover our fruits.

Sukha Vinaya literally means ' the discipline of the joy of the mind'.
The method offers a number of keys and components from which the practitioner chooses and thus shapes a personal practice for mind training, mindfulness and meditation.

Objective is to enjoy it in good times and bad.

Sukha Vinaya allows you to integrate meditation into your daily life without having to adopt the habits of a nun or monk.

' Nothing must, everything can ' and ' start each session from scratch and just see where you end up ', are the common threads in this practice.

Your Guide

_______

Karma Djinpa Tartchin ( Daniel Rottiers ) is a monk rooted in Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism. An ultra-runner and long-distance cyclist who loves meditation, coffee and equanimity. Active for years in enterprise software sales with a weakness for people management.
'Everything is a creation of the mind' is his mantra.
He is not a teacher, he’s a guide!

WORKSHOPS AND SESSIONS EXPLAINED

ONLINE ZOOM MEDITATION
4 x 1 hour per week, 1 session mind training, 1 session mindfulness and 2 sessions silent meditation. You can also jump in halfway through the session to enjoy 30 minutes.

SUKHA VINAYA WORKSHOP
2 to 3 hour workshop in which you walk through mind training, mindfulness and meditation with the common thread of 'calming the mind', 'insight & wisdom' and 'loving kindness & compassion'.

THE MENTAL ATHLETE
2 to 3 hour workshop in which you will learn, through meditation, how powerful the mind and our mental state are and how to use that power to practice your sport, yoga, dance or workout more economically and with more fun.

As the Buddha proposed in the first teachings he gave upon attaining enlightenment, the essence

of ordinary life is suffering, then one of the most effective antidotes is laughter. Particularly laughter

at oneself. Every aspect of experience assumes a certain kind of brightness once you learn to laugh at yourself.

The Method

___________

There are three components in Sukha Vinaya: mind training, mindfulness and meditation.

Each component contains 3 root practices as a foundation to further develop your mental potential.

The method allows you to put together a unique experience based on different exercises within each component, and in the long run work out a personal training plan that meets your objectives and goals to become the mental athlete you want to be.

All combinations are possible and the motto is: 'anything goes, nothing must'. Do what you enjoy.

From mental calmness to mastering the mind to focus & awareness.

Tranquility - Objectivity - Acceptance

Focus - Insight - Loving-kindness

Equanimity - Wisdom - Compassion

Like that, the nature of mind is primordially, like space,

There are no phenomena not included within it.

Letting go of all physical activities, the yogi rests at ease.

Speech without reference, is like an empty echo.

Body without essence, is like a bamboo stalk.

Mind, like the center of space, transcends all objects of thinking.

Without sending it away or placing it, relax within that.
