The Village Nation UCSB Trip RSVP

Thank you for your interest in participating in The Village Nation (TVN)'s Event. 

The Village Nation and The UCSB Department of Black Studies invites 8th - 12th grade scholars to enjoy a turnaround day-trip UC Santa Barbara!

Calling All Black Student Union (BSU) Scholars! The Village Nation has partnered with UC Santa Barbara's Department of Black Studies to host the 2nd Annual BLK to College Experience at UC Santa Barbara.

The goal of the trip is to CONNECT•LEARN•EXPLORE with other BSU students from all over.

Event: TVN's California Black College Experience/Tour @ UC Santa Barbara

Date: Thursday, March 13, 2025 9:30am - 2:00pm


BUS: (10:1 Chaperone ratio required)

Bus expense and arrangements are to be made by the school/organization. *TVN is not responsible for transportation expenses. Unless otherwise negotiated*

To maximize the time at UCSB, departure must be at ~8:00am. A return time of 3:30pm is expected.


LUNCH:

A catered hot lunch will be provided to all attendees.

Informational Zoom Meeting:

BSA/BSU Chaperone’s/Advisors should attend the informational Zoom meeting Thursday, March 6th at 4:00pm (a calendar invite will be shared with registrants).
