The goal of these labs and the workshop is to prepare you for customer implementations and to become a certified implementation specialist.

Hands-on Bootcamps March 30th & March 31st

Additionally to the Fusion Middleware Partner Community Forum, you can participate in technical hands on workshops on March 30th and 31st (for those attending the workshops, it is also required to attend the Community Forum on the 28th & 29th). You can choose either the two days PaaS for SaaS (including IoT) workshop or choose between several half day PaaS hands-on labs. The goal of these workshops is to prepare you for customer implementations and to become a certified implementation specialist.

You will receive a separate confirmation for the hands-on bootcamps on Thursday and Friday as soon you are confirmed. The PaaS for SaaS workshop is limited to two persons per company, additional registration will be added to the waiting list. Seats are granted by first come first serve. If you use a non-company e-mail and do not highlight your current middleware projects we will add you to the training waiting list and confirm you last minute. You can choose only one from the following trainings:

  • PaaS (API and ICS, PCS and DOCs, MCS, ACC) labs or
  • PaaS for SaaS (including IoT) workshop

We will offer 3 parallel hands-on labs. On each day you can choose between a morning and an afternoon lab. Each lab will run hands-on on your own laptop for four hours. In total you can attend 4 different hands-on trainings on Thursday and Friday. This allows you to get a good overview on the PaaS portfolio.

This session will introduce you to how to use Oracle PaaS services to extend SaaS. It will run two full days. In case you choose to attend this workshop you can not attend any other lab. You will hear from our Product Management leaders the latest updates of Oracle Cloud Services and then our Oracle Development experts will host a series of Cloud Implementation hands on workshops of PaaS solutions for Oracle SaaS. This workshop includes presentations, live demos and hands-on laboratory exercises.

Technical Requirements: A laptop with minimum 25GB free disk space and 8GB RAM to run Virtual Box installed https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads (Virtualization enabled in the laptop (BIOS))

  • Can I make a registration for my colleague? No, we ask for personal registrations to ensure that your personal accounts are in place.

  • Can I bring my family & friends to the conference? Yes, Split is a great city, the hotel is at the beach including spa and offers a kids club. All conference attendees need to be registered if they want to attend the sessions. In case your family & friends want to attend only the social networking event on Tuesday evening please contact the registration desk during the conference. We will try to assign seats based on availability.
