What is Calming Sounds?
Calming sounds is a collection of audio on CBeebies Radio designed to help your little one relax.
There are eight sounds to choose from which allows you to experiment and find which one works best:
Waves, birdsong, rain, car journey, spaceship, white noise, pink noise and brown noise.
How can I find the calming sounds?
The collection of sounds is available on the CBeebies Radio website, or you can save this page to your home screen to use whenever you like.
You can even download the sounds for free using the BBC Sounds app, which means you can use them at any time - even if you don't have an internet connection.
You can also listen to calming sounds through your smart speaker by asking for them directly. Just say, “Open CBeebies and play the calming sounds of… waves / birdsong / rain / car journey / spaceship / white noise / pink noise / brown noise.”
